Surly Vs. Scab

Some TNJ fanart I made.

This time it's more on my planned but not-yet possible TNJ fanfic, Of Rats and Origins. www.fanfiction.net/s/12484027/… It's Surly and the rodents of Liberty Park vs. Scab and the rats of Oakton City as an all-out war.
I think this overall came out pretty good. This, to be honest, is the second time I've ever drawn Scab too. And yes, what you see in the pic is his actual height. He is taller and a little bigger than Surly. He is a pretty big rat. In reality if they were bigger than squirrels, you'd definitely want to stay away from those kinds of rats.
And yes, this is what my fanfic would be about.

Back before the first movie, Surly used to be in Scab's gang as a thief throughout his childhood and teenage years after he was banished and disowned by his purple-squirrel-hating father, Rick Squirrel. He was raised as a mischief thief by Scab too, and was "family" to him. Scab even evilly convinced him never to share, and Surly took his word for it. One day though, Surly found and befriended Buddy, but Scab disapproved of it as he ordered Surly to kill him. Knowing that his purpose was to steal and not kill, Surly refused and turned against the rat leader just to save Buddy. During the process as he freed Buddy with it, Surly accidentally slashed Scab's left eye with a trashed glass shard. Enraged by the betrayal, Scab and the rat gang then chased the duo throughout the city. The two then came to a deadend which was a road full of cars. The rat leader then made his last attempt to kill Surly as he pounced onto the purple squirrel, but Surly managed to kick him into the road getting him hit by a car. Thankful that they thought it was over, the two got away and decided to move into the Liberty Park only to be troublemaking thieves there.
Now years later after the first movie, Surly's married to Andie(despite the fact that I'm not a fan of the pairing) and they have a daughter they named Maple. Unfortunately and shockingly though as if he survived the car accident, Scab returns after Grayson foolishly invited him into the park thinking he was a poor homeless rat. The evil one-eyed rat now not only seeks revenge on Surly, but also plans to build a rat army to take over the Liberty Park and make it into rat territory as part of his revenge. It's now up to Surly and his ragtag team to defeat Scab and save the park, even if he has to give himself up and face the cyclops rat in order to save his wife and daughter. Surly and the gang will need all the other park animals to help fight as well in order to stand a chance against the night-dwelling rodents of the city.
Meanwhile, Surly's parents come as his now-changed father Rick wants forgiveness for his terrible treatment toward Surly and for disowning him. Will he be forgiven though, especially by Maple after she had learned about him from Surly?

NOTE: I'm not a The Nut Job freak, though! I know I've been making a lot of fanart for the movie despite its poor rating and that most people hate it! I'm just mostly into the characters! I'm not big into the movie itself!
I just have two more pieces of TNJ art I'd like to make, then I'll maybe be done for a while.
